Vaishnava pranam. The quotes you mention are certainly applicable to conditioned souls like you and I, but are not relevant at all when trying to understand the life of Srila Prabhupada. He is not a conditioned soul and…"

"No, Srila Prabhupada was not poisoned. And also no, you cannot receive diksha from him either. He said clearly that he did not accept any disciples after October 19, 1977."

When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?

I first visited the temple in Portland Oregon in mid July 1973, moved in on July 29th and was initiated the same year. Pictured are the original Portland ISKCON Deities of Sri Sri Gaura-Nitai, and a photo of the Portland devotees taken in 1975. Deena Bandhu prabhu was the temple president at the time. His kindness and interest in my spiritual life, along with his wife Akuti mataji's cooking and exceptional worship of Sri Sri Gaura Nitai quickly brought me to Srila Prabhupada's shelter. I am forever grateful to them both.

Name the nearest or most frequently Visited ISKCON temple/ centre and name few of the devotees whom you know.

My wife and I moved to Mayapur in November 2018, and have been happily living here ever since. Srila Prabhupada's mercy.

Please describe yourself so that other like minded devotees can find you.

I spend my time worshipping Shaligram Shila, Jagannatha Swami, and Tulasi Maharani. It is also my privledge to be engagd in traveling to ISKCON Temples, mostly in the Delhi area, to encourage younger devotees in their service to Srila Prabhupada's ISKCON. Many wonderful young men and women have come forward to serve my guru Maharaja's mission and is the most inspiring thing for me to see them become enthused in their own Krishnaa Bhakti. But reall all I really aspire for is to be the humble servant of the lotus feet of Srila Prabhupada. "sri guru chane rati ei sei uttama gati!"

What are your expectations from this community?

To know what other devotees are doing, experiencing, realizing, struggling with, preaching, etc, etc....

Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?

I am most inspired traveling to ISKCON centers worldwide, doing my best to inspire the amazing new devotees that have taken shelter there. I also love to worship and serve Tulasi Maharani and Sri Shaligram. May They, and you the reader, all bless this fallen soul. Here in Mayapur I also am participaaitng in arranging for devotee care through Mayapur "Helping Hands".
