    Prabhu I am a student and I am confused regarding my career. I have 2 option .. first I take a simple job and practice devotional service And the other is to prepare for a powerful career like IAS. I am very confused as I am more inclined to the second because I see that to live in this world with peace and respect you need power. But the more we are powerful the more we have to give our time to material activities. But I also want to become Krishna Conscious..... Whatever I ahve seen and felt in my life is that power is mandatory to live a respected and peacefull life. But I also know that only krishna consiousness can give us the ultimate peace. So I am confused... In first I can practice KC because of time but social status is not like that, and second gives more respect and power but less time to KC. Please help me..

I recall one poem of my Guru-maharaj Srila Bhakti Charu Swami . jadi Prabhupada na hoibe tabe ki hobe amara.....to All those who have join Srila Prabhupada mouvement, We are all made for Srila prabhupada to SP  ,by SP withSP, This is Prabhupada Consciousness and then Krishna Consciousness, Just hold His dhoti.
