When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?
Become Life member in 2001 when His Grace Jagjivan Prabhu then President of Mira Road Temple, Mumbai came to my office in Nariman Point, Mumbai.
Name the nearest or most frequently Visited ISKCON temple/ centre and name few of the devotees whom you know.
I have been overseas in Lagos Nigeria since May, 2001 to April, 2005 and then for some months in India in Mumbai and Pune, then I went to DaresSalaam, Tanzania in November, 2005 till October, 2010, I have been having a house in Pune and have been born and brought up in Malad (West), Mumbai so associated with Juhu and Mira Road temple till I was in Mumbai and in Pune associated with Negdi temple, currently as I am in Lagos since June, 2011 have been associated with Lagos temple and know all the devotees there including the temple president His Grace Yadhunatha Das Prabhuji and His Holiness Bhakti Dhira Damodar Goswami Maharaj.
Please describe yourself so that other like minded devotees can find you.
I love and enjoy Kirtan than any other part of devotional service and would like to have association of such kind of devotees who are like Gandharva's.
What are your expectations from this community?
As a neophyte devotee, I understand that we should not have any expectations as expectations leads to problems but in spiritual life one can expect to have association of devotees so the same is for me.
Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?
Doing Kirtan, chanting of the Maha mantra, reading of the Bhagwad Gita and Srimad Bhagvatam,

Nice to see your profile and read abou tyou. My husbandis also in Nigeria , G. Shankar who works for Nigerian Engg Works in Port Harcourt. I joined ISKCON Recently and have started chanting the maha mantra and it gives me lot of peace. I also read Bhagvat Gita every day. At present trying to develop a detached attitude abd attachment to Kirshna alone. Very difficult to detach from relationships. My mother in law passed away recently ,with whom I was very close. Her loss has created a great grief for me as she was a very fine lady and like my mother. Chanting and Gita are gving me some relief but even then though Gita says The wise never grieve over the death of any one, For me it is difficult to come to terms as I had spent close to 25 Yrs with my mothe rin Law who was like a dear friend to me. Thanks. Nice to keep in touch with someone like you.
