Daily number of rounds of Hare Krishna mahamantra.
minimum 6 rounds daily
When, where and how did you come into contact with the Hare Krishna Movement?
December 2008, Amsterdam via Upagupta Mandal from Pune who was based in Amsterdam for work. We happened to work at the same office. My Indian roots aroused curiosity and attraction (father Bengali, mother English / Jewish) , therefore Upa and I connected very well. We have since become extremely good friends only now he is back in India.
Name the nearest or most frequently Visited ISKCON temple/ centre and name few of the devotees whom you know.

* Saravanan Venkatesan (another very good friend & serious devotee via Upagupta & Amsterdam temple) (based in Bangalore)
* HG Revati Pati das (via Upagupta @ Pune temple)
* Aravinda Netra & family (The Hague)
* Baladeva Keilman (Amsterdam)
these are just a few of the very many people I know.
Please describe yourself so that other like minded devotees can find you.
Very young at heart. Serious but still quite new at KC...even though I uphold the 4 principles, I still struggle for necessary consistency in chanting (I was once upon a time chanting 10 rounds daily) but after working a night job for 3 months at a hotel, things have seemed to go downhill from there...it's complicated to explain. One would have to live in the west to understand...it is extremely difficult to find like-minded serious KC devotees in Amsterdam....at least not the same as my 2 Indian friends who were once based here; in the meantime they have returned back to India for work...
What are your expectations from this community?
I try to make it a habit to have no expectations and therefore no disappointments...
Describe any specific service you would love to offer to Lord Krishna & His devotees?
I write the weekly news letter for the Amsterdam temple. The offense that I commit when doing this service, is that I don't think of the Lord...instead I enjoy doing it for the temple, the devotees and our TP (consistent information to the 'outside' world & temple visitors alike is so very important). This way I hope to contribute and help our temple's stability. ISKCON Desire Tree and connected temples are great examples and inspiration.

ISKCON Temple is on the way so we also go there. i like that atmosphere where every one forgets himself & began to dance.me from my childhood usually goes to shri vrindavan so i m very much affectionate frm the land, people, & over all every thing.
