The Vrindavan Institute for Higher Education (VIHE) will offer a 20-session study of Śri Śikṣāṣṭakam from August 27 to September 28, 2026, as part of its newly launched Bhakti-śīlanam course. Sessions will run from 11 am to 1 pm Indian Standard Time (IST) and will be available both onsite in Vrindavan and online.
Śri Śikṣāṣṭakam consists of the eight verses given by Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu. The upcoming sessions will give participants an opportunity to engage with these verses within the broader framework of Bhakti-śīlanam.
Bhakti-śīlanam is a cultivation-based program intended for devotees who have completed Bhakti-śāstrī or equivalent study and wish to continue their post-Bhakti-śāstrī cultivation. Within this program, Śri Śikṣāṣṭakam is one of the individual topics offered for study.
Devotees may register for and attend individual topics within Bhakti-śīlanam separately, allowing those specifically interested in Śri Śikṣāṣṭakam to join these sessions without registering for the full Bhakti-śīlanam course.
