The main service I would like to do for Krishna is to help people by writing books that use all the knowledge of religion, philosophy, science, and psychology that I've learned to explain the intricacies of Krishna Consciousness to people of other religious faiths so that they can see how it corresponds to their own religion. I want to point out to them also all the other religions' correspondences with each other, to benefit everyone who has to deal with people in their daily lives who seriously follow a different religion than they do. 

The message I will attempt to convey, besides presenting Krishna Consciousness in a way that everyone can understand and relate to, is going to be that we should all get along and love, respect, and help each other, instead of fighting and causing wars, in order to make the world a better, more peaceful place.

All sincere practitioners of the various legitimate religious paths are striving to serve and please the same God, but everyone lets different terminology, as well as cultural differences, create division between them. Krishna Consciousness contains the most complete science of God out of all the extant religions, but very few people of other faiths realize this because, at least in my country, they label us a "cult" instead of acknowledging that we follow a legitimate religion. And Krishna Consciousness is much more than a religion, it's a way of life, sanatana-dharma, but people don't know this. I think if we are able as devotees to adequately show people how amazing Krishna Consciousness is, we will gain more respect in the world and definitely more followers.

The only way I can see to accomplish this is to be able to "speak their language". So when preaching to someone who was, for example, raised Catholic, I should have enough knowledge of Catholicism, which may be the only religious ideas they're familiar with, to be able to point out the similarities between Krishna Consciousness and Catholicism and go from there. If I'm not able to connect with them on a deep level in this way, they will most likely just nod and agree with me to get me to be quiet, and then throw the book I just gave them in the garbage.

To truly touch people's hearts and get them to accept Krishna Consciousness, we have to attempt to relate to them. Once they come to understand everything, then we can explain that Krishna Consciousness is not just a religion, it is sanatana-dharma. Sanatana means 'eternal' and dharma means 'occupation' so sanatana dharma means the eternal occupation of the living entity. People tend to think that this sanatana-dharma is religion but that is not a very good understanding because religion can change. One day I can be a Christian, then I can change to be a Hindu, so this 'Christian' or 'Hindu' cannot be sanatana-dharma.

We can  explain that every human beings' dharma is service. We have no meaning without service. There is no way we can escape from service. Even to simply maintain the body we have to render so much service to it. So a humans' dharma is service. Now humans can either serve Krishna, or serve themselves. So we come to sanatana-dharma, which is our eternal occupation of service to Krishna.  

It's all so easy to explain once you truly connect with someone.
