The TOVP has released the short documentary, “The Making of the Srila Prabhupada Legacy,” following the successful and spiritually envigorating grand opening of phase one of the Museum in Sri Mayapur Dham. Braja Vilas Das, Co-Chairman and Director of Development of the TOVP, guides viewers through some of the Museum’s highlights. Phase two will add an additional 6,000 square feet of display space.
Pure and Secure
Museum curator Daivisakti Devi Dasi emphasized, “There are two words we want to really concentrate on in this Museum, and they are ‘pure and secure.’ Here in Sri Mayapur Dham, everyone is giving from their heart. They’re giving donations, not just monetary donations. They’re giving their love to Srila Prabhupada…They are donating from their heart so that everyone in the whole world can benefit from these tadiya [momentos] of Srila Prabhupada.” She continued, “So, that is the purity; they’re giving with love to Srila Prabhupada what was given to them, and they’re now giving it back to Srila Prabhupada. She then focused on the second word, “secure.” This means “we are we’re planning for the next 10,000 years. Anything that anyone donates to Srila Prabhupaa’s Legacy Museum will be kept in the highest security so that the generations to come will be able to benefit from seeing Prabhupada’s personal paraphernalia. Srila Prabhupada explained to us that when he left this planet, his items would be worshipable, and that is exactly what we’re doing in this Museum.”
This project aims to become the largest Museum in the world for any single person in the history of humanity. To watch the full video, click the image below. To gift your Prabhupada tadiya, please contact the devotees below:
