We are thrilled to share with you the wonderful achievements and activities of ISKCON Russian speaking Yatra in London for the month of June:
1. Namahatta with Patri Prabhu
Recently, a Namahatta session was held with Patri Prabhu. This event provided an enriching experience for attendees, focusing on deepening their understanding of Krishna consciousness through insightful discussions on how to build a strong core of ISKCON groups. Thank you Virkotia and Ruslan prabhu for hosting such a special gathering at your place!
2. Bhakti Steps Initiative by Purnamasi Mataji.
Purnamasi Mataji has taken the initiative to lead the Bhakti Steps program. This program aims to guide and support devotees in their spiritual journey, providing structured steps towards deepening their devotion and practice. She has 3 matajis in the group.
3. Ongoing Weekly Activities:
Our weekly activities continue to thrive and provide valuable spiritual engagement for our community:
– Morning Japa for Matajis: A dedicated time for Matajis to come together for collective chanting, fostering a supportive and spiritually uplifting environment.
– Online Thursday Namahatta: Virtual gatherings that allow devotees to connect, share, and grow together in their spiritual practices.
– Bhakti School Lessons: Regular lessons aimed at educating and inspiring devotees in the principles and practices of Bhakti Yoga.
-Other 2 mentorship groups led by Yogapati prabhu and Jayanti Radhika mataji are continuing to offer support and guidance as usual.
4. Namahatta with Madana Mohan Prabhu.
During the Namahatta with Madana Mohan Prabhu, we explored the theme of friendship within Krishna consciousness. This session emphasized the importance of building and nurturing spiritual friendships, offering practical advice and deep spiritual insights.
5. Cooking Sunday Feast at the Temple
Our community members regularly participate in cooking the Sunday feast at the temple. This service not only supports the temple but also provides an amazing opportunity for our devotees to engage in practical devotional service.
6. Harinama – public chanting of the holy names, continues to be a significant part of our monthly regular activities. This not only spreads the holy names of Krishna but also brings spiritual awareness and joy to the wider community. We thank Nikita prabhu for upholding this seva with great enthusiasm.
7. Namahatta with Vrajendra Kishor Prabhu’s Family.
A special Namahatta was held with Vrajendra Kishor Prabhu’s family, where we read the story of the elephant Vrajendra. This story provided profound lessons on the importance of relying on Krishna, reinforcing our faith and devotion.
8. Two Sunday Programs.
We recently hosted two enriching Sunday programs:
– Sarvatma Prabhu shared captivating stories from Vrindavan, helping deepen our spiritual realizations about this sacred place.
– Jayanti Radhika Mataji conducted a session on devotee care, emphasizing the importance of supporting and nurturing the spiritual well-being of each other within the community.
These activities collectively contribute to the spiritual growth and cohesion of our Russian-speaking yatra in London, fostering a supportive and enriching environment for all devotees involved.
We thank everyone for their contribution and support.
These activities reflect our commitment to fostering spiritual growth, community unity, and dedication to Krishna consciousness. We are grateful for your continued support and guidance.
