Oh our Lord, wish you this merry day,
You appeared and all inauspicious flew away
We offer you our million obeisances
Begging you for our countless offences
This very day your lovable dear father,
started to deliver people all over
May be, Krishna therefore sent you today
To maintain the glory of this day
Let us offer you our hearts today
Please vanish all garbage away
To serve you always, this we want,
But for it requires a simple heart
To deliver us you came down here
So as to propagate the mission everywhere
This is Krishna's plan to liberate us
Eternally conditioned animals
Knowing this all we are supposed to be serious
Leaving it we are insincere and envious
We blindly mix with suffering majorities
Unaware of the danger of missing opportunities
Now you are here, kind compassionate,
To make us learn how to appreciate
This loving society of Krishna's devotees
The oasis, shelter with relief and ease
You teach this world with your example
How to surrender and being tolerant humble
You are doing every best for the world
By giving knowledge to us, the ever puzzled
You are perfect with no flaws
Where all qualities of shashtras glows
You carry Prabhupada in your heart
In war against Maya this is your dart
Now this is our turn to respond back
But when this stone heart will crack?
When we will be attach to your lotus feet?
Which is shelter from this scorching heat
Your mercy for us is always showering
But I am fool with all type covering
My coverings are pride and false ego
Which stop to surrender and the chance will go
If this chance will go, then there is no hope
I have to suffer eternally, tied with rope
Please bless me with complete faith in Your Holiness
Enough for me to get spiritual happiness
I am not a devotee and am very new
Only you can give me shelter, vision, view
What I am and was you already knew
'Qualifications',- I don't have even a few
On this day, we pray to your lotus feet,
That let our heart become Their seat
This is the perfection of our existence
Impetus for our spiritual persistence.
