The Mayapur Institute is set to celebrate 25 years of exemplary service to the global ISKCON community through its commitment to systematic sastric education. From February 14-16, 2025, the Institute’s campus in Mayapur will host a grand event, bringing together devotees, alumni, and well-wishers from around the world.
The event’s detailed schedule features diverse and meaningful highlights, and the celebration promises to be a landmark occasion, reflecting the Institute’s enduring contribution to spiritual education and the Krishna Consciousness movement.
One of the main attractions is an exhibition, which will provide attendees with a guided tour through the Mayapur Institute’s history, achievements, and future vision. Led by the Mayapur Institute Board and senior members, this exhibition will offer a comprehensive view of the Institute’s contributions to the ISKCON community.
As part of the celebrations, panel discussions in English, Russian, and Bengali will feature senior devotees sharing their perspectives on the theme, ‘Training Devotees for Re-spiritualizing Society – Practical Suggestions.’ By addressing diverse linguistic audiences, these discussions underscore the global relevance of the theme and offer an inclusive opportunity for participants to engage deeply with the vision of re-spiritualizing the world through Krishna Consciousness.
The event also features an Interactive Alumni Hour. This special session allows former students to share personal experiences, inspiring the current batch of students to deepen their connection with the Institute’s mission. Additionally, the unveiling of the Mayapur Institute’s future vision will provide a glimpse into upcoming projects and infrastructure plans, signaling the Institute’s commitment to expanding its offerings and embracing new methods of spiritual education.
A notable highlight of the celebration will be Jayapataka Swami’s keynote address, who will speak about the significance of the Mayapur Institute’s journey and its role in fulfilling Srila Prabhupada’s vision of a spiritually learned society. Presentations by all four members of the Mayapur Institute Board will provide attendees with an in-depth understanding of the Institute’s history, academic achievements, and future goals. These presentations aim to inspire a collective commitment to the continued growth and success of the Institute.
Padmanayana Dasa, Chairman of the Mayapur Institute, expressed his gratitude on this momentous occasion, acknowledging the blessings of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, the guidance of Srila Prabhupada, the unwavering support of Jayapataka Swami, and the tireless service of the faculty and countless devotees.
