February 29, 2024, marked the 150th anniversary of His Divine Grace Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Goswami Maharaja’s appearance. This was an important celebration for ISKCON, recognizing his pre-eminent position as the Guru of our Founder-Acarya, His Divine Grace A.C. On February 8, 2024, during festivities in New Delhi celebrating the 150th anniversary of the Appearance of His Divine Grace Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakur, Prime Minister Narendra Modi released a commemorative postage stamp honoring Srila Bhaktisiddhanta’s significance as a spiritual leader.

The India Post noted, “This stamp emphasizes his immense contribution to the spiritual upliftment of millions in India and abroad.”

In honor of the upcoming 150th anniversary of the appearance of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakur, the GBC Executive Committee is encouraging ISKCON leadership and congregations to gloriously celebrate the auspicious occasion.
