Recently, Mayapur Bhakti Vriksha organised the festival of glorifying Holy Name, 2019 -Krishna Naam Sudha, in the city of Krishnanagar, Nadia, West Bengal India.

To glorify & preach the yuga dharma- chanting of holy name, Hare Krishna Maha-Mantra was made the prime focus and the crowd of Krishnangar area participated whole heartedly in this great kirtan festival. Close to 400 attendees were in the house.Festival took place on 21st of April 2019, at 4 pm at the Dijendra Mancha, Krishnanagar Municipality Auditorium. And it went on till 9 pm. The participants were mainly from the different bhakti vriksha groups under this body.
The well renowned kirtan group “Mayapur Chandras“ graced the event as the prime attraction followed by the Bhakti Vriksha’s own kirtan experts and at last but not the least His Grace Sachi Kumar Prabhu, drowned the whole audience in the nectarean ocean of the holy name. At the end sumptuous mahaprasadam was distributed among all the attended devotees.
The devotees were nicely taking part in it by helping in different managing areas and of course by chanting and dancing from the bottom of their hearts. By this kind of attempts Mayapur Bhakti Vriksha aims to enthuse their members and people in general in the science of Krishna Consciousness. The members were already expressing their heart felt joy and gratitude to Srila Prabhupada and his followers for giving them this rare gift of Loving devotion to the Lord Krishna and Mahaprabhu.
Mayapur Bhakti Vriksha preaches the Cult of Krishna Consciousness very systematically and smoothly and in due course the members become well acquainted with the philosophy and mood to practice bhakti life and preach the same. Our mood is to create educated preachers and devotees who would contribute to the mission of Srila Prabhupada as he would like. We keep on organizing various festivals like well wishers’ program, get together of members, Summer camp amongst youths, spiritual tours to different spiritual places, Street and town sankirtans, different house programs, book distribution programs, damodar programs etc.
The head of the department of Mayapur Bhakti Vriksha His Grace Mathuresh Prabhu very expertly handled the whole proceeding of this event. His able leadership has produced a lot of good will in the area and immense zeal among the practicing devotees to serve this great mission of sankirtan yajna. We hope our founder Acharya His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada and ISKCON Mayapur management would be very pleased of this humble attempt of Mayapur Bhakti Vriksha’s preaching.
