In Rome, a special event was held in the presence of Pope Leo XIV to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Nostra Aetate, the landmark declaration of the Second Vatican Council that reshaped the Roman Catholic Church’s relationship with other religious traditions and underscored the importance of interreligious dialogue and mutual understanding.
The event took place in the prestigious Paul VI Hall in Vatican City, bringing together hundreds of representatives from different faiths, united by the desire to build bridges of respect and cooperation. Among the guests were Parabhakti Dasa, Director of Communications in Italy and Vice-Director of Communications for Europe, together with the President of the Hare Krishna Temple of Rome, Harikirtan Dasa, and his wife, Tulasi Gopi Devi Dasi.
