As communities in parts of Mindanao recover from a powerful earthquake that damaged homes, businesses, and infrastructure, ISKCON Sri Sri Radha Madhava Mandir in Taguig City is organizing a Food for Life relief effort to assist affected families by distributing prasadam meals and providing community support.
The initiative, scheduled to begin on June 17 and contiprasadam-distribution nue through the end of the month, comes as residents in some of the hardest-hit areas continue assessing the impact of the disaster and rebuilding their lives. While ISKCON communities across the Philippines were largely spared from direct damage, devotees have begun mobilizing resources to support those facing the greatest challenges.
