Bhumi Puja at ISKCON Jagannath Puri
Dear Devotees,
Namaskaar. Jaya Srila Prabhupada! Jaya Jagannath! On Friday, July 17, 2015, the bhumi puja - worship of the earth upon which construction is to be undertaken - will be held at the ISKCON Puri Project land at Jagannath Puri, in Orissa (Odhisha) State.
This is the date of the Gundicha marjan ceremony.
The ceremonial worship (bhumi puja) will begin in the early morning and continue till about noon.
All are invited to attend.
The ISKCON Puri land is situated on sixteen (16) acres of land on the Northeastern side of Puri, just off of the Beach Road.
Also, ISKCON Puri is going to open a new "Govinda's restaurant and (a temporary) ISKCON project Guest House at Banki Muhan, C.T. Road, Puri on Tuesday, July 14, 2015.
Devotees wanting to stay at the new guest house may contact me via e-mail. We still have a a limited number of rooms available for the Rathayatra festival.
