Calling all those who want to relish and spread Lord Chaitanya’s mercy! Srila Prabhupada once referred to the Chaitanya Charitamrita as “the real Bengali sweet.” This literature, which goes into the essence of our tattva as Gaudiya Vaishnavas specifically, shares the sweet pastimes of Lord Chaitanya’s sankirtan movement and confidential mood to the world. Being His faithful followers, it is our duty to both accept and distribute this mercy.
The BBT Marketing, Communications, and Innovations team has a SPECIAL campaign called “Be a Gardener” which lasts until Gaura Purnima, dedicated to the Chaitanya Caritamrita.
Here’s how you can participate:
1. Distribute Chaitanya Caritamrita – the global goal is 7,000 sets
2. Read Adi Lila Chapter 9 – an overview of Lord Chaitanya’s preaching mission, and insights as to why we focus on spreading his message
3. Share your favorite section – share with the world your favorite section of the Chaitanya Caritamrita
This year, let’s come together and honor Lord Chaitanya through his most famous biography, the Caitanya Caritamrta. The time is now to “sow the seeds of Bhakti” – both for yourself and for others.
