All glories to Srila Prabhupada’s book distribution ki jay!

Dear Maharajas, prabhus and matajis,

Please accept my humble obesances, all glories to our most dearly beloved Srila Prabhupada, all glories to Sri Guru and Sri Gauranga, all glories to the sankirtan devotees of the Lord!

Please accept this preaching report for you pleasure in my service to Srila Prabhupda, Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu and the devotees of the Lord!

So I am here in the ancient port city of Mombassa here on the eastern coast of Kenya this is the last leg of my trip here in East and Central Africa before I go back to the SA. It has been wonderful and I have relished every moment of it, even though at times it seemed as things were difficult I am trying to understand that everything is in the hands of Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabh! It always brings me to the realization: That wherever we the material world, somehow or other everyone is looking for Krsna! Everything in Srila Prabhupada’s service in his glorious book distribution mission is a success we must sow these seeds of mercy and love to all the fallen and conditioned souls, no one should be denied acsess to the mercy of Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu’s unfathomable mercy; everyone is a rightful inheritor to the kingdom of God! So many are on their way back home, back to Godhead Hare Krsna!

Today was the first day here in Mombassa (I had been here in June, but as it was the rainy season it was very difficult to distribute books) to distribute Srila Prabhupada's books – as usual here at this time of the year it is very hot, so not being acclimatized, I did not go out for very long. The first book I distributed was to one young lady – asked here where she was going; she told me that she was on here way to work. I asked her where that was – she told me that she own a small shop selling clothes. "Oh that is very nice, I am very proud of you, a young person such as yourself, and owning your own business. I began to show her Srila Prabhupada's books, which she perused with great interest. I asked her if she had ever heard of yoga, no she had not. I told her that the books were about yoga and that it was not the kind of yoga of strenuous breathing and posture exercises, this type of yoga can be practiced anywhere and anytime. She said that she would take a book, but that she did not have much money. I told her that it is not the amount of money she gives me, she could give me whatever she liked from her heart. She looked at the SSR, but decided that she would not take it, thinking that perhaps it was too expensive. I gave her a Coming Back and she gave me 50 shillings. I thanked her for taking Srila Prabhupada's books and told her that they were not ordinary books but text books of higher knowledge. She thanked me and then on second thoughts she said that she would take the SSR.
