A Dance for Shri Madhav – It Is Mayapur
Her fair skin was shining like a sun in the evening darkness of the Altar room. Her hands were like of two wings which were trying to fly over and over the sky. Her eyes were gazing sometimes to the Lotus Feet of the Lord before her and sometimes to her own heart full of thoughts…
She moved in tune to the mridanga which was sounding in the heart “tak tik taka taka tak…” While she was dancing her sari moved here and there trying to make her dance to the Lord even more beautiful…
It was time when we had to offer lamps to the Lord. As usually all Devotees of Kartik Yatra 2012 in Mayapur used to offer lamps after the evening class of Maharaj. So immediately after the lecture we all had to collect ghee lamps from the pandal and run to the main Chandra Doya Temple. Everyone was running, I also ran. Because at 8:00 PM Darshan closes. Corridors were crowded. After entering to the Pancha Tattva hall we had to walk from the back side of the Altars. So I did. When I at least reached the Altar of Shri Shri Radha Madhav with yet unfired lamp on my hand my vision was captured with beautiful shining sun. And that was a Mataji whom I used to see in our yatra. She was dancing along with other beautiful ladies and for a moment I thought:
“How beautiful! How charming! How pleasing!”
Because I was standing back to the Altar yet I could see their dance from the side of the Deities and again thought:
“If this dance makes me – the insignificant particle so happy then what to speak of Mayapur Madhav who is unlimited, who is with all good qualities, who is all loving…?!”
That time I got another answer to my question: even physical beauty or physical abilities we can use for Krishna’s service and if we do it with intention to please Him then He will accept our service and be pleased.
Let’s dance for the pleasure of Krishna!!!
All glories to Shrila Prabhupada and to all those Devotees who are working very hard to give us – insignificant souls to find the true path of bhakti – devotional service to the Supreme Personality of Godhead!!!
