On the final day of World Holy Name Festival, coinciding with HG Aindra Prabhu's 108 Hour Memorial
Kirtan, New Gokula Farm in the Hunter Valley, Australia, will be hosting a Maha 24 Hour Kirtan Festival. The event is held over a long weekend during school and university spring holidays. The program kicks off at 6 pm on Saturday, October 2nd and runs through til 7 pm on Sunday, October 3rd (extra hour due to daylight saving change). This festival requires months of ongoing organization and preparation to host devotees and guests from around Australia and is funded solely by donations. Participating guests and devotees are humbly
requested to give a small donation of $25 upon arrival to receive a wristband for prasadam, accommodation and facilities. The aim of this is to ensure the sustainability of such festivals and to cover the costs incurred in the
organization of this event so that New Gokula is not left in financial disarray after the event.
However, we would like to make it very clear that the goal of holding a Kirtan festival is to enable anyone and everyone to chant the Holy Names of the Lord constantly without any barriers and therefore no one will be
turned away if they are unable to contribute the suggested donation. Wristbands will still be given out.
We look forward to seeing you here for an amazing 24 hours of non-stop chanting of the Maha-Mantra. New Gokula is located approximately 2 hours drive from Sydney and 1 hour from Newcastle in the heart of the Hunter
Valley. We will be arranging car-pooling and a van/minibus to ferry devotees from Sydney and Newcastle to the farm and back. To view the map visit www.newgokula.com. If you have any queries or can sing the Holy Name in any capacity email Krishnapada Prabhu (krishnapada@hotmail.com) or Nimai (nimai2@hotmail.com) and we’ll give you a timeslot on the roster to sing for the pleasure of Their Lordships Shri Shri Radha Gokulananda and all the assembled devotees.
HARIBOL!
