Sweet Potato Kheer
Ingredients
- Grated sweet potatoes (ratale) - 1 cup
- Sugar - ¼ cup
- Fresh coconut scraped - ½ cup
- Cardamoms, ground - 5
- Full cream milk - 4 cups
Preparation
- Wash, peel and grate sweet potatoes in a vessel.
- Heat milk in a saucepan on medium heat and add grated sweet potatoes to it.
- Cook stirring continuously till it turns soft and the mixture thickens.
- Then add sugar, cardamom powder and scraped coconut and cook for few more minutes.
- Remove from heat and serve hot or cold in a serving bowl.
