Peanut Butter Berry Cake
Ingredients
- Peanut butter - 4 tbsp
- Grape seed oil - 50ml
- Banana mashed (100g) - 1 small
- Self raising flour - 150g
- Almonds (ground) - 100g
- Sugar - 75g
- Baking powder - ½ tbsp
- Blackberries (fresh or frozen) - 100g
- Peanuts (salted or unsalted) - 50g
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C.
- Take a bowl and add peanut butter, oil and mashed banana.
- In another bowl, mix the flour along with the almonds, sugar and baking powder. Fold in the berries.
- Add the peanut butter mixture to the flour mixture bowl.
- Transfer the mixture into a lined sandwich tin.
- Scatter the peanuts in it on top of the mixture.
- Bake it for half an hour until nice and golden is achieved.
- Remove let it cool for sometime and then serve.
