moong dal vadas

ingredients 

moong dal (without cover) - one cup

grated fresh coconut - 1/2 cup

green chillies - as per taste

fresh corriender leaves - chopped finely - 3 to 4 table spoons

grated giner - two to three tablespoon

salt to taste.

oil for frying the vadas.

method

soak the dal in hot water for 30 minutes, drain cool and grind to a coarse paste with as less water as possible, the paste should  be of thick consistency, add all the other ingredients ( grated fresh coconut, finely chopped green chillies, chopped fresh corriender leaves, grated ginger and salt to taste ) and mix them well. 

heat oil in a deep frying pan, when oil is ready, on medium flame, pour vadas in oil ( size of vadas should be small , one teaspoon full of batter is sufficient for one vada), fry the vadas and (with green chutney)  offer for the pleasure of the Lord.
