Mataji... Please forgive me if I am offending.. Devotees do not use Soya. It is considered to be in the mode of ignorance.

Soya sauce is mainly to give the dark color in the dish and I really do not know what kind of taste it has. In any case, avoid all soya products.

could u pls tell what can be used instead of soya sauce.

Im not aware of any alternative for this and I really dont see a need also. Soya does not have any particular taste that makes the dish taste different. Its only added as its extract from Soya which is high in protein content and the dark color. This is like Onion and Garlic... no alternative and is really not required to be used in a dish.
