tena vrndavanam nama pravadanti manisinah

Another name of Tulasi is Vrinda. For this reason, the wise say that Vrindavan is named after Tulasi because she performed austerities there.

athava te pravaksyami param hetv-antaram srnu

yena vrndavanam nama punya-ksetrasya bharate

In the Fifth Canto of Śrīmad Bhāgavatam, Sixth Chapter, 18th verse, Nārada says to Yudhisthira, “My dear King, it is Lord Krishna, known as Mukunda, who is the eternal protector of the Pāndavas and the Yadus. He is also your spiritual master and instructor in every respect. He is the only worshipable God for you. He is very dear and affectionate, and He is the director of all your activities, both individual and familia

In Bhagvatam canto1 chapter1 text1 pg no 47,

This converse comes

Sri Vyasadeva says herein that the manifested internal potency is real,whereas the external manifested energy is in the form of material existence is only temporary and illusory like the mirage in the desert. In the desert mirage there is no actual water,there is only appearance of water. real water is somewhere else..

This converse is tricky one as i feel...

Does that

The holy name, character, pastimes and activities of Krsna are all transcendentally sweet like sugar candy. Although the tongue of one afflicted by the jaundice of avidya (ignorance) cannot taste anything sweet, it is wonderful that simply by carefully chanting these sweet names every day, a natural relish awakens within his tongue, and his disease is gradually destroyed at the root.

Hare Krsna my dear devotees. I was thinking

In one small city in Spain I walked over to a man sitting in the driver’s seat of a parked car and handed him a copy of The Science of Self-Realization. As he looked at the beautiful photograph of Srila Prabhupada on the cover, I spoke to him about the book and about the chanting of Hare Krsna.
On the seat beside him I noticed a large knife, some whisky bottles, and what appeared to be a package of illegal drugs. The man accepted the book gave a donation and I left. A half an hour later he retur

Preserve your spiritual status - avoid stress

                  In the name of service, we often overburden ourselves with impossible schedules, high expectations from ourselves and others and big projects and goals. Sometimes we end up stressed out and frustrated .  We have lost the Higher connection. At that time, our happy Krishna conscious mood leaves us, our spiritual practice might become compromised, and instead of gratitude, we feel burned out, bitter or anxious.
Of course, there is some
