His Divine Grace, A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami, PrabhupadaSrila Prabhupada is the Founder and Acarya (Spiritual Authority) of The International Society for Krishna Consciousness, more commonly known as the Hare Krishna Movement on account of our practice of chanting the Hare Krishna Maha-mantra :Hare Krsna Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare.Srila Prabhupada, as he is affectionately addressed by his friends and disciples established the Hare Krishna Society in order to make available to the world the sublime Spiritual Knowledge available in the ancient Vedic Scriptures. Srila Prabhupada passed away from our material vision on the 17th of November 1977, but his legacy to the world, his books, recorded Lectures and Conversations and prolific Correspondence which he wrote in the course of establishing his Movement represent the most essential teaching of India's Ancient Vedic Scripture. The Bhagavad-gita, Srimad Bhagavatam, Sri Caitanya Caritamrta, Bhakti Rasamrta-Sindhu and numerous other Vedic texts were translated by him along with elaborate explanations of the texts. He also left almost 2,000 hrs of recorded lectures and conversations on the subject matter as well as numerous letters to interested persons, friends and Disciples. In his correspondence he would address himself as : “ your ever well-wisher”" Your Ever Well-Wisher " is a tribute to His Divine Grace and aims to facilitate the communication of his teachings and provide a platform for association between Srila Prabhupada's disciples, friends and interested parties.   • Srila Prabhupda is indeed our well wisher - wishing us a safe and sweet journey back home, back to Godhead. All that he did in his life is for spiritual upliftment of the entire humanity, irrespective of class, race & religion.
