Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. On behalf of the Vrindavana Institute for Higher Education, I am heartilyinviting you to take part in the upcoming third International VaisnaviRetreat, to be held at the foothill of Sri Giriraja Govardhana from February20 to 24, 2013.
We have organized this year's schedule so it includes Sri NityanandaPrabhu's appearance day festival. Thus the theme of the retreat seminars andactivities will be: "In praise of Nityananda Mahajana."The festival willinclude a maha-abhiseka, 108 bhoga offerings, recitation of astakas, dancingand acting for Lord Nityananda's pleasure, and a dramatic reading ofselected pastimes. Besides, our overall theme of "Celebrating SrilaPrabhupada's Mercy" will continue, enhanced by the participation of manydisciples of Srila Prabhupada.
We shall be staying in a peaceful guesthouse at Jatipura. Our experienceover the last two gatherings is that these Vaisnavi retreats are trulyhelpful in boosting both the devotees' enthusiasm and their trust in peerassociation, which are important keys for spiritual advancement. We canpractically see how these retreats serve as a forum for Vaisnavis to takeshelter in Krsna and in each other for spiritual progress. Among peers wecan open our hearts and develop deep lasting friendships, which will help usremain engaged in Mahaprabhu's preaching mission under the shelter of SrilaPrabhupada.
