Surrender can do wonder

It wasn’t that Arjuna feared enemies; he had never been defeated by anyone. He was the best archer of the world. He had the capability to face unconquerable Bhisma and Drona. But still he broke down just before the epic battle of Mahabharata. Internally he was in quandary; he could not comprehend what is right and wrong. Overpowered by his emotions he cast aside his weapons. Arjuna was a sorry figure. But he had the fortune of having Krishna by his side. In this moment of crisis Krishna came to his rescue. He did not squabble with Krishna but simply surrendered to him. Krishna’s counsel not just dispelled Arjuna’s misgivings but also energised him to face the enemy with more vigour. When confronted with precarious situations if we too make Krishna as our guide then we too can quell our doubts and can face the challenges of life fearlessly. Bhagavad Gita contains Krishna’s words and messages. The mellifluous words of Gita will brighten our future. If we do not derive our inspiration from the right source then we compound our problems which open the door for more problems and more miseries. Krishna is like the sun; his appearance drives away darkness.Arjuna was an ideal student as he took shelter of Krishna. The last verse of Bhagavad Gita (18.78) says, “Wherever there is Krishna, the master of all mystics, and wherever there is Arjuna, the supreme archer, there will also certainly be opulence, victory, extraordinary power, and morality.”Like Arjuna if we too make Krishna as our guide then we will also be always victorious.
