Creating safe communities is a shared responsibility. For ISKCON communities to thrive, children and families need to feel protected, supported, and cared for. Building that kind of environment requires more than good intentions—it requires awareness, education, and the confidence to recognize and respond to potential risks.
Karuna Care Association is offering a three-week online course, Strengthening Our Communities: Understanding the What, Why, and How of Child Protection, designed to help devotees better understand child safety and their role in creating safer ISKCON communities.
The course will explore why child safety education is important, how to recognize signs of abuse, the tactics used by offenders– including grooming– and practical approaches to risk management. Participants will also learn about ISKCON’s child protection guidelines and reporting procedures, gaining greater clarity about how to respond when concerns arise.
