We beg to inform all the devotees that Sriman Grahila Prabhu,
disciple of His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada, husband of Guru Seva
dasi and father of Smt. Nitai dasi, has left his body at 07.47 AM, 11 March, 2010 under
very auspicious circumstances in Sri Mayapur Dhama.
After a restless night symptomized with rapid breathing Grahila
prabhu left on this auspicious day of Papamocani Ekadasi surrounded by
a room full of well-wishers, chanting loudly the holy names of the Lord
and praying for his spiritual perfection. He was lucid and in clear
consciousness and has been blessed by Srila Prabhupada and the
presiding Masters of Mayapur with the highest benediction.
All glories to Sri Guru and Gauranga! All glories to Their dear
servant Sriman Grahila dasa Prabhu!

I just heard that Grahila Prabhu has left his material body. I would like to
share with you one of his last pastimes as I was serving him the last days.
Last week he asked me to write a letter on his behalf. The letter was
addressed to a publisher of a book. Grahila Prabhu was complaining to the
publisher because he had put his name on the front cover of the book and
above Kushakrata's prabhu name and besides that Grahila prabhu's name was
written in bigger letters than Kushakrata's. He was asking the publisher to
please correct it and put his name in the second page of the book.
