This shows the blissful SnanYatra or bathing ceremony of Lord Jagannatha (a form of Lord Krishna), His brother Lord Balarama and His sister Lady Subhadra. Various items are used, such as fruit juices, milk, ghee, honey, water, yogurt, etc. This was held at the Detroit Iskcon Krishna Temple on July 18, 2010. Everyone who attended got the chance to bathe the Deities by pouring some of the items over the Deities. This is a prerequisite ceremony before we have the grand RathaYatra parade the following week. Other videos show the Detroit Rathayatra. And you can find those that show the original RathaYatra in Jagannatha Puri, India.
