The aid is directed at setting up autonomous electricity and water supply for the New Navadvipa temple in Kyiv.
As of December 10th, 32 solar panels a 10-kilowatt diesel generator an inverter, batteries a stabilizer a water pump and fuel have been purchased it is still necessary to install solar panels and purchase a fastening system electrical fittings and extra fuel.
We are very happy that we have this chance to thank you for your kindness for your kind heart for the fact that you participated in our life.
In Kyiv we have a wonderful Temple and it has been 30 years since we started building it and we have wonderful deities we didn’t even have time to finish the construction of the temple when the war broke out so that’s why we were very much worried and anxious how we can continue worshiping our deities and technically it was very difficult.
We promised them, during the installation ceremony, that we will take care of them it was technically difficult when there is no electricity no water but thanks to your help it has become possible and we are very much grateful to that thank you after seven months of the deities evacuation they have decided to come back to Kyiv and the first impression that we had that was this ongoing war and such uncertainty about lack of electricity of or about being very cold that we came here and we were so much surprised that there was everything electricity and water and worms and we have constructed temporary alter and it might not have been possible without your help I am sincerely thankful to you dear devotees at such times it is difficult for people to be psychologically resilient to go through these hardships that every people who live in Ukraine are facing now and the temple is a true shelter for many many devotees who even now practice Krishna Consciousness although it’s it’s difficult now and thanks to the fact that we have the dear to worship here that there are programs happening thanks to your support that is a true salvation for devoters and for Ordinary People Who come to the temple for the first time especially now newcomers are joining irrespective of what is going on the devotees and the brahmacaris are Distributing books and the marathon and right now people are most open and at this at this time I want to say that we truly felt Srila Prabhupada’s family such difficult times for the fact that you helped us thank you Hare Krishna.
