Rupa Vilasa dasa, a disciple of Srila Prabhupada, has been helping to run two local sangas for many years. As a local author, lecturer, and educator, throughout his five books he offers the history of our Vaishnava acaryas, which readers will find both educational and entertaining.

Rupa Vilasa dasa reveals the history of ISKCON’s parampara (a succession of spiritual teachers) in an unique and highly readable style. He explains that such knowledge of the tradition will inspire the devotee community regarding the movement’s spiritual history.

Working with Bookwrights Press, three of his books: Babaji Maharaja—Two Beyond Duality,  Namacarya—The Life of Srila Haridasa Thakura, and Without Fear—Glimpses of Srila Prabhupada are now available from Amazon.

His book about Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura (The Seventh Goswami) has been newly revised and expanded with much new material and is  due to be published later this year by the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust (BBT). He is presently working on a much expanded revision of A Ray of Vishnu, a biography of Srila Prabhupada’s spiritual master, Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura.

Babaji Maharaja, his book about Gaura Kisora and Jagannatha dasa Babaji Maharajas is now twice its original length with much new information about the acaryas that has never been published before.

Without Fear – Glimpses of Srila Prabhupada is wholly focused on ISKCON’s founder-acarya, offering a deeply personal and introspective account of Rupa Vilasa’s memories of his spiritual master.
