By the blessings of Srila Prabhupada and all the Vaishnava's ISKCON Visakhapatnam's 3rd Annual Rathayatra festival was very successful with thousands of people attending the program.

This year we increased the height of the Ratham  with a collapsible canopy and thereby it was looking more grander.The Ratham was tastefully decorated with very beautiful flowers and balloons. There were kirtan mandalis,Nadaswaram parties,kolatam dances,people dressed as different characters from Ramayan and Mahabharath entertaining the crowds,decorated horses and Continuous prasadam distribution.Devotees from Russia, Mayapur, Tirupati and H.H.Bhaktivinod Maharaj also participated.

The procession ended at the Gurujada kalakshetram were the deities were taken on the stage and offered Chappan bhoga and arrati followed by Bhajan program,Discourse and feast Prasadam for around  4500 life Members.

The highlight of this year's Rathayatra festival was that being a Sunday we celebrated on the famous RK Beach and thousands of people participated naturally.

This programme was covered by all the print and electronic media.Many TV Channels gave Live Telecast.Three M.L.A. s of  Visakhapatnam city inaugurated the festival.
