On behalf of ISKCON Bhaktivedanta Ashram Baliapanda, Puri. We devotees, volunters and staff members distributed nearly 10,000 plates of prasadam to the pilgrims on the most ouspious occasion of Sri Lord Jagannath Rath yatra, on 3rd july 2011.This pograme was organised at Sri Khetra Puri.Orissa.The prasadam consisted of cooked rice, dalma(mixture of dal and vegtable) and picle. We started prasadam distribution at 9 AM during the huge rush of pilgrims .

The people were waiting to see the There Lordship on  the chariot. We also distributed 30,000 drinking water pauches to the public. Many govt officers, reputed personalitys and general public appreciated the service done by devotees of ISKCON during Rathyatra.They also accepted sesmptuous prasadam. This also created a wonderful goodwill in Puri towards the mission  of Srila Prabhupada.In addition to the great spritual benifit of feeding the devotees of Lord Jagannath  on this ouspious day, The Prasadam distribution continued at Bagala Dharmasala located at the Grand road .

This place is the centra located place and the three raths passes  in front of Bagala Dhramsala .The prasadam distribution continued until 2PM. Due to huge rush our supplied were over and we could not continue the distribution beyond 2PM. We kindly appeal to the devotes to suport generosly to the pogramme in future.By this we can spread Srila Prabhupada's mercy and fame widely at puri.We are very greatful for our Project Directer H.G. Vanamali prabhu for his great enthuisims and suport for the prasad distribution at Rath yatra.
