Our dear HH Jayapataka Swami has been admitted to the ICU while traveling and serving in the United States. Maharaj’s health is in a delicate state requiring respiratory support and specialized dialysis. We humbly request the worldwide community of devotees to please pray for our Jayapataka Maharaj.
Maharaj’s dedication to the service of Srila Prabhupada is inconceivable. Despite two decades of health challenges that most people simply would not have survived, Maharaj continues to lead the charge in inspiring devotees in every part of the world through his lectures, writing books, personally caring for those in need, and carrying out his leadership services with remarkable commitment and thoughtfulness. And at the same time, he is always meditating on how to expand Srila Prabhupada’s mission further and further while ensuring that the devotees are being provided every opportunity to delve deeper into the nectar of Krishna consciousness.
We require Maharaj’s leadership and precious association for as long as Krishna will allow us to have it, so we beseech the devotees to please pray to Sri Sri Radha-Madhava that if They so desire, They may allow Maharaj to remain with us with renewed health and continued enthusiasm to inspire us all.
