ISKCON NEW OLREANS cordially invites you all for the “RATH YATRA FESTIVAL” Date: 12th and 13th Nov, 2011 Parade on 12th Nov, 2011, starts from Canal Street and Decatur Street at 12:00 noon. Parade ends at Washington Square Park. This year we are very fortunate that H.H Bhakti Caru Swami,H.H Bir Krishna Goswami and H.H Bhakti Marg Swami will be present to shower their blessing upon us.
H.H Bhakti Marg Swami will perform Jagannath Drama on the stage on 12th and 13th Nov. H.H Bhakti Caru Swami and H.H Bir Krishna Goswami will speak on the importance of Jagannath Rath yatra and Pastimes of Lord Jagannath. We are also very pleased to announce that this year we have invited SaReGaMaPa Hindi and Marathi winner Salil Bhadekar from India to sing Hindi Bhajans,accompanied by Pandit G.S Chandra and Dexter R. ISKCON NEW ORLEANS is famous for its mouth watering complimentary feast for everyone.
This year,H.G Surdas prabhu,H.G Titikshiva Karunika prabhu,H.G Nirantar prabhu will come with their respective Bands to entertain the audience with their live music. Dance group from our Alachua temple will perform Indian classical dance. New Orleans Sunday school girls will perform dance. There will be Pizza stall, henna stall, books stall, Reincarnation stall,Varna-ashram stall, and much more??
We have quality Motel rooms on the first come first basis for devotees in general. Registration is only $10 which includes your pre-booked accommodation from 11th nov to13th nov. prasadam is free for everyone. We request devotees to register ASAP. Please phone one of us.
