Come and experience the life of yoga in a Vedic ashram environment in Śrīdhāma Māyāpur, gaining a substantial grounding in the classical bhakti-yoga tradition and deepening your spiritual connection to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Śrī Kṛṣṇa and open yourself to profound inner transformation. In this three-week course, you will establish a firm foundation of the discipline of Āśram Life that encourages physical, cognitive, dynamic, and spiritual growth and build a robust base from which to familiarise others intrinsically and confidently.
Exploring Kṛṣṇa Consciousness is a three-week intensive residential course established on the archaic gurukula system, where teachers and students live concurrently. You will be in a traditional Āśram and closely interact with our proficient and devoted teachers and staff immersed in the yogic lifestyle. Connected to an ancient teaching lineage (guru paramparā), passed down from guru to disciple through thousands of years, the curriculum is extensive and covers theory and practice. Devotional practices, traditional in India, are an integral part of the course.
A vegetarian diet, daily enlightening classes, two spiritual tours to Śrī Yogapīṭha & Śrī Jagannātha Temple, Rājāpūr and an association of like-minded devotees, as well as living in the stunning natural beauty of the spiritual abode of Lord Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, away from worldly town and city promote an atmosphere conducive to profound learning. The Māyāpur Institute, with the vision, designed the course to develop successful yoga professionals and spread peace in the world through them.
A sincere desire to understand and comprehend bhakti-yoga is required – basic knowledge of Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇava philosophy is preferred but not essential. Graduates of the Course receive internationally-recognized certification.
Students enjoy occasional cultural programs offered during the program's course. During their stay, the students must attend early morning and evening programs. Students can explore Āśram's vicinity during free time or enter our periodic day pilgrimages to places of interest. Attendance at all activities is required. Changes in the program may happen, and students will be informed accordingly. Excellent three vegetarian meals situated in the mood of goodness with accommodation in twin share basis is included in the course fees.
