The family of Tariq Saleem Ziyad, affectionately known to many devotees as Pita Tariq, recently shared the sad news of his passing after a period of declining health.
In a message to friends and well-wishers, the family explained that after living with dementia for several years, Tariq was recently diagnosed with terminal blood cancer and entered hospice care. They expressed gratitude for the many messages of support, prayers, and affection received during this time.
