Few prasadam stories from New Vrindaban’s history are as legendary as those of the late Amburish Dasa’s sweet rice and Pitambar Dasi’s ice cream.
Straight from the cow barn and prepared by the cowherd couple with deep love and devotion, they were much-craved treats in the austere lives of New Vrindaban’s early devotees.

We, at ISKCON NEWS, are all set to launch the food section of our website and for this purpose, we are organizing an online international recipes competition.
The title of the online event is the "Bhakti Foodie" competition, and it will continue for the whole month of September and end on September 30th, 2021.
All are cordially invited to submit their recipes in the form of short video recordings. Devotees from various ISKCON Temples can also contribute.
