Karuna Care has announced a new six-week online course, Trauma and Addiction, which will run from July 17 through August 21, 2026. The program is designed to help participants better understand the relationship between childhood trauma, addiction, emotional healing, and spiritual development.
The course will be led by Sukhavaha Dasi, a devotee counselor and educator with extensive experience in trauma-informed care and devotional support. Through her service with Karuna Care, she has assisted many devotees in navigating emotional challenges and fostering healthier relationships with themselves, others, and Krishna. Her facilitation combines practical therapeutic insights with a strong foundation in Krishna consciousness.
Held on six consecutive Fridays—July 17, 24, and 31, and August 7, 14, and 21—the course will be offered in two time slots to accommodate participants across different regions: 8:00–9:30 a.m. EST and 6:00–7:30 p.m. EST.
