As part of the recent Golden Jubilee celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of the Krishna Balaram Mandir, ISKCON Vrindavan shared the initial details about the new Devotee Care Project, an initiative aimed at supporting senior devotees who have spent their lives in service to Srila Prabhupada’s mission. The announcement was made by Panchagauda Das, Temple President of the Sri Krishna Balaram Mandir, who reflected on the decades of sacrifice and growth within the Vrindavan temple community.

The new project will be developed on land just behind the Krishna Balaram guesthouse and will include 25 well-equipped rooms on multiple floors. Designed for devotees seeking to spend their later years in Vrindavan, it will offer spiritual association, proximity to the temple, and support for end-of-life care. “So many devotees have given their time, their life—this is a humble offering to care for them in return,” shared Panchagauda Das, emphasizing the collaborative vision of the Vrindavan Executive Board and senior leaders like His Holiness Gopal Krishna Goswami.

In parallel with this project, the Gurukula has been relocated to ISKCON’s 120-acre eco farm due to safety concerns with the previous structure. The move is part of a broader effort to ensure infrastructure stability while expanding ISKCON Vrindavan’s long-term development. To watch the entire announcement, click here.
