In the aftermath of the powerful earthquake that recently struck Venezuela, ISKCON Venezuela has expanded its relief efforts through a humanitarian Food for Life campaign, distributing free, hot, and nutritious prasadam meals to affected families and emergency responders working in the ongoing search-and-recovery operations.
“In times of difficulty, a plate of food can also be a message of hope,” ISKCON Venezuela said in an appeal announcing the campaign. Through its Food for Life program, ISKCON Venezuela aims to provide practical assistance while offering encouragement and care to those affected by the disaster.
The relief effort has set an ambitious goal of serving 2,000 meals per day, with volunteers preparing and distributing prasadam throughout affected communities. Organizers note that every contribution helps expand the program’s reach and allows more families to receive nutritious meals during a critical time.
“With your donation, we can reach more people and continue this mission of compassionate service,” the appeal stated. “Every bit counts. Every dish feeds a life.”
