Sadhu Priya Das, ISKCON Russia, and Sri Madhava Das, ISKCON Uzbekistan, were invited to take part in the International Conference for Religious Tolerance in Uzbekistan on November 16th, 2024.
The Conference was held at the initiative of Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of Uzbekistan, to commemorate International Tolerance Day. ISKCON devotees and other representatives of the Hindu faith were invited. Sadhu Priya Das spoke in front of the assembly of different faith leaders as a representative of the Hindu Council of Russia. He said that all authentic religious paths are facets of God’s pure love and light and that Sanatana Dharma teaches tolerance towards other religions, as well as respect. Everyone has the right to their own spiritual path, and no one should be persecuted or bullied for their beliefs.
The speech was warmly received by the assembly of religious leaders from all over Uzbekistan and other countries.
