31205196101?profile=RESIZE_584xAs devotees gather in New York City to mark ISKCON’s 60th anniversary, youth from the local community will present an original musical depicting the life and mission of Srila Prabhupada.

The Hare Krishna Musical, written and performed by ISKCON NYC youth, will combine music, drama, and dance to tell the story of ISKCON’s Founder-Acharya and the movement he established in New York City in 1966. Radhanath Swami will be among the honored guests attending the performance.

The musical begins promptly at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 2, at 305 Schermerhorn Street in Brooklyn. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early, as late entry may be restricted once the performance begins.

The production will be part of the “Origins” 60th Anniversary Weekend, taking place July 31–August 2, 2026. The three-day gathering invites devotees and friends to return to ISKCON’s birthplace for events honoring the movement’s history and looking toward its future.

The anniversary weekend will also include a gala (sold out), a pilgrimage tour, a sunset kirtan cruise, a public festival, and a commemorative Love Feast. More information is available in ISKCON News’ earlier report on the Origins celebration.
