Please Forword This Message to Others Who May be Interested, Especially Non-Pamho Recipients

Happy New Year 2013 to everyone!

This is an invitation to begin 2013 by studying Srila Prabhupada's Sri Isopanisad online with us from January 7 - February 10. Internet study allows everyone to work from their own computer, on their own schedule, and at their own pace.

As thread is woven into cloth and thus pervades an entire garment, the concepts in Sri Isopanisad are core-concepts; building blocks in the foundation of Krsna consciousness which weave into the philosophy even in its higher realms. This is one of the first books Srila Prabhupada published when he began preaching in the West, understanding these ideas are essential for understanding Vedic philosophy and wisdom.

Course includes:
*all texts and purports

*audio readings of texts and purports

*graphic art to help illustrate various concepts

*customized personal audio and video clips of Srila Prabhupada explaining pertinent points with subtitles so everyone can easily understand his language

*forums to discuss important points among participants

*open questions to teachers in case anything remains unclear

*written essays to insure everyone understands the main points

*weekly review of the all the concepts covered each week

Following this method, participants are encouraged to accept Srila Prabhupada as their siksa-guru (instructing spiritual master), how to systematically study his books, how to develop a taste for hearing his lectures, and thereby learn the philosophy of Krsna consciousness as Srila Prabhupada teaches it.

Facilitators for this E-Course are Srila Prabhupada's personally initiated disciples Dhruva Maharaja dasa and Samapriya dasi who have been following these teachings and instructing others for more than 40 years.

"As fire is kindled from wood by another fire, the divine consciousness of man can similarly be kindled by another divine grace. His Divine Grace the spiritual master can kindle the spiritual fire from the woodlike living entity by imparting proper spiritual messages injected through the receptive ear. Therefore one is required to approach the proper spiritual master with receptive ears only, and thus divine existence is gradually realized. The difference between animality and humanity lies in this process only. A human being can hear properly, whereas an animal cannot." (SB 1.2.32 purport).
