With great pleasure we would like to invite you to participate in the annual 2013 Jhulan Yatra Festival here in Sri Dham Mayapur.
Every year for 5 days we have a Cultural Program on the stage between 7-8pm, HG Jananivasa Prabhu would like our performers to be from Mayapur, so we are inviting all of you to share your talents... whether you can dance, sing, act, play an instrument... we invite you to talk with your friends and see if there is something that you can offer for the pleasure of Sri Sri Radha Madhava. Whether 5 minutes or 15 minutes... we appreciate your participation. Don’t be shy!!!
“Imagine a lake surrounded by flowering shrubs, illuminated by thousand of twinkling colored lights and with cooling water fountains shooting colorful droplets of water in the air, that gently cascade with a splashing sound, that accompanies the sweet kirtan, that permeates the entire atmosphere. In the center of the lake there is a pavilion which is covered with creeping flower vines, and within that grove there is an astonishing effulgent crystal Jhulan. Suddenly, amidst a loud kirtan, Radha and Krsna appear being carried decorated with flowers and gently swing, while being offered refreshments, arotiks and very unusual firework displays on the water. The devotees lovingly surround Sri Sri Radha Madhava and swing them to their hearts content, while gazing upon their splendid forms.
No, No. This is not an imagination; it is not a dream and is it not a fairyland. It is real and it is happening now!

Jhulan is one of the eternal Astaka Lila pastimes that Sri Sri Radha Madhava and Their associates perform daily in Gokul Vrindavan.
This year Adivas will be on Friday 16th August [in the Temple room after Sandhya Arati], and the 5-day festival will run from Saturday 17th August until Wednesday 21st August (Balarama Purnima) [at Srila Prabhupada Ashram (Old Gurukula, next to Goshalla)].
Daily Program:
4.45 pm Deities brought out from Temple in procession with Kirtan and taken to Gurukul
6.00 pm Sandhya Arati, Bhajans and Lamp offering
7.00 pm Cultural Program (including guest speaker)
8.00 pm Bhajans continue (with swinging of Radha Govinda Deities)

Even if you have a desire to perform, yet do not have someone/or a group to perform with, still contact us and we will assist you, or put you in touch with a group who would like to perform a drama/dance, or if you need musicians as backup.
