International Vaisnavi Retreat, February 20-24, 2013
Dear devotees,

On behalf of the Vrindavana Institute for Higher Education, I am heartily inviting you to take part in the upcoming third International Vaisnavi Retreat, to be held at the foothill of Sri Giriraja Govardhana from February 20 to 24, 2013.
We have organized this year’s schedule so it includes Sri Nityananda Prabhu’s appearance day festival. Thus the theme of the retreat seminars and activities will be: “In praise of Nityananda Mahajana.”The festival will include a maha-abhiseka, 108 bhoga offerings, recitation of astakas, dancing and acting for Lord Nityananda’s pleasure, and a dramatic reading of selected pastimes. Besides, our overall theme of “Celebrating Srila Prabhupada’s Mercy” will continue, enhanced by the participation of many disciples of Srila Prabhupada.
We shall be staying in a peaceful guesthouse at Jatipura. Our experience over the last two gatherings is that these Vaisnavi retreats are truly helpful in boosting both the devotees’ enthusiasm and their trust in peer association, which are important keys for spiritual advancement. We can practically see how these retreats serve as a forum for Vaisnavis to take shelter in Krsna and in each other for spiritual progress. Among peers we can open our hearts and develop deep lasting friendships, which will help us remain engaged in Mahaprabhu's preaching mission under the shelter of Srila Prabhupada.
