This is best and foremost way to initiate. Like once srila Parbhupada said "Humans are like animals, we fed them with prasadam, they come -we give prasadam again and again. They will get infected with prasadam and will become krishna conscious one day, because prasadam is krishna himself".
So, with using "Hare Krishna" Instead of "Hello/ Hi" (while addressing a person in material world), have tramandous effects. One who is not a devotee and comes to your contact daily. When you use Hare Krishna daily with him, one day he will definitely be interested to know more about krishna and when he will increase intrest, he will become devotee one day. This is well tested practice. We need to follow this practice on regular basis.
