Dear Maharajas and Prabhus,

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

On behalf of Moscow devotess I would like to submit a short report for the last year.

We just finished a very ecstatic marathon during which 35 thousand books were distributed. It is almost double in comparison with the last year, and almost 4 times more than in 1998. The best devotees distributed 5000, 4000 and 3000 thousand books respectively within one month. At the same time there was no competition spirit, or result oriented mood. Most of the devotees were quite mature in their approach. There is a lot less artificiality in the mood, than it used to be.

The atmosphere in the temple is becoming warmer and warmer. There is a growing sense of unity and friendship among devotees. There is a lot of serious, very sincere devotees who study Srila Prabhupada's books very enthusiastically and at the same time preach vigorously. Slowly but surely the community spirit also grows, and the marathon proved it. The ties between the congregation and the temple become stronger. A weekly newsletter helps to unite all the devotees in Moscow (althought there is still a lot to be done in this regard).

Last year we had our best Janmastami ever with over 3000 visitors during one day. Systematic educational programs for congregation (bhakta program and bhakti sastri course) and for the temple brahmacaris are firmly established.

Quite a few devotees who left during 1998 gradually come back in one way or another and we try our best to help them.

We would like to thank all the visiting preachers who grace our temple for their contribution. It cannot be overestimated. All of you are source of constant inspiration for Moscow devotees. So we sincerely beg you to continue blessing us by your association. Please come to our temple as often as possible, please stay here, preach here, inspire us by your sublime devotional qualities and profound realizations.

Please bless us to continue serve in our humble way the glorious misson of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. We completely depend upon your blessings and good wishes.
