As the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) approaches its historic 60th anniversary, devotees around the world are being invited to participate in a special anniversary gala honoring the extraordinary legacy of ISKCON’s Founder-Acharya, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada. The gala will take place on July 31, 2026, at The Glasshouse, one of New York City’s premier event venues. Tickets are now available for $350, with registration and sponsorship opportunities available on the event website.
Among the confirmed guests is renowned Bollywood actress and Member of Parliament Hema Malini, who recently recorded a video invitation encouraging devotees and well-wishers to attend. Reflecting on ISKCON’s impact, she said, “For six decades, ISKCON has been a movement of devotion, culture, and compassion that has touched hearts around the world. I am excited to be part of this special event this summer on July 31st, where devotees, artists, leaders, and other public figures will gather in New York City for a historic celebration.”
The celebration is part of a year-long observance marking 60 years since Srila Prabhupada formally established ISKCON in New York City in 1966. From its humble beginnings at 26 Second Avenue, the movement has grown into a worldwide spiritual society with hundreds of temples, communities, educational institutions, and outreach programs across the globe.
Organized by the North American Anniversary Team, the gala will bring together diverse guests to reflect on ISKCON’s past, celebrate its present, and look toward its future. A major feature of the evening will be a Legacy Exhibition tracing Srila Prabhupada’s journey from New York City to the worldwide movement he founded, highlighting stories, milestones, and the lasting impact of his mission. The evening will also showcase bhakti culture through kirtan, devotional music, dance, presentations, and gourmet vegetarian dining.
